Long stays in Santiago, what to check before renting a furnished apartment by the month

Booking direct on mrbnb.cl, a furnished apartment for a month or longer gets 20% off the nightly price from 28 nights and 25% from 84. From 7 nights the discount is 10%. Nights in July and August get at most 10%, and cleaning is not discounted. Before you look at that, a few things about the apartment itself are worth checking, because on a long stay you notice them every day.

Washer and kitchen

Almost all our apartments have a kitchen. The washer needs a closer look: some apartments have one inside, and in others there is a paid laundry room in the building. Over a month that difference shows, so check on the listing where it is. Long stays lists the ones with a kitchen and one of the two laundry options.

Somewhere to work

Several apartments list a dedicated workspace and almost all have wifi, but a desk is a different matter. If you will be working eight hours a day, ask us for photos of the workspace before booking.

Towels, sheets and cleaning

Replacement towels and sheets during your stay are not included. A mid-stay cleaning costs the same as the apartment's check-out cleaning, includes fresh sheets and towels, and is paid before it is scheduled. You can also ask for just a change of linen, which has a cost. Ask for both prices when you get a quote.

Services on request

Laundry, transfers, groceries before you arrive or an errand during your stay. Tell us what you need and when, we send you the price in writing, and it is booked once you accept. Details at companies and long stays.

Parking

If you are coming by car, say so when you book. Where there is parking, it is usually free and assigned depending on availability; in a few buildings it costs extra. Each listing says which, and the list is at apartments with parking.

Discounts and payment

Booking direct on mrbnb.cl, the nightly price drops 10% from 7 nights, 20% from 28 and 25% from 84. The discount is applied automatically in the quote and at checkout. Cleaning is not discounted, and nights in July and August get at most 10% even on a longer stay.

Up to 27 nights you pay through an AlohaPay payment link, in Chilean pesos. From 28 nights you pay by bank transfer, and the booking is held for 48 hours while we confirm the payment.

On Airbnb most of our apartments have a discount from 7 nights and a bigger one from 28. Each listing shows its own.

If you are renting for two months or more, you can visit the apartment before booking. Write to us and we will set it up.
